your storm water fees at work
February 2010
Background/History of the Project:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services and
consulting engineers, US Infrastructure and Armstrong
Glen, are in the Real Estate Phase of the Conway/Briabend
Storm Drainage Improvement Project. This project will
repair existing culverts, storm drainage and channel
systems to reduce house and street flooding within the
area bounded by Scaleybark Road, South Boulevard and
Woodlawn Road.
Current Status and Next Steps:
The consulting engineers have submitted a draft of the final
design plans. City staff and other stakeholders are reviewing
the final plans and other construction documents. Julie
Millea, City Real Estate, is finalizing her coordination
with individual property owners directly affected by the
proposed project construction.
