Storm Drainage Improvement Project

Dear Resident:
Construction is underway for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water
Services’ Conway/Briabend Storm Drainage Improvement Project.
United Construction was awarded the construction contract and
began work in November.
The sidewalk at Collinswood Language Academy is complete and the
area will be seeded soon. The pipe system for the school ballpark
dry detention pond and Firwood side drainage system are being
completed. Excavation continues on the detention basins at the
ballpark and Firwood.

Contractors install a 48” pipe at the ballpark detention area.
