UNDER CONSTRUCTION Shillington STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Dear Resident: June 2012 Construction is underway for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’ Shillington Storm Drainage Improvement Project. Ferebee Corporation was awarded the construction contract and began work in May. Construction activities have begun along Sharon Acres Road and behind homes of the 8300-8400 block of Prince George Road. The contractor will install improvements at the intersection of Gleneagles Road and Bar Harbor Lane, and replace the culvert under Eagle Glen. Residents will continue to see survey crews in the neighborhood to stake construction improvements and limits. These crews may need to enter your property. While State law authorizes entry onto private property, no buildings or structures will be entered or disturbed. Utility companies will also be on site to relocate utility lines prior to construction. For more information about this project, please visit our website to view project updates and exhibits at: http://stormwater.charmeck.org.
