UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Shillington
STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Dear Resident:
October 2012
Construction continues for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services’
Shillington Storm Drainage Improvement Project. Work along Sharon
Acres Road at Whistlestop is progressing on schedule. The contractor
will then install improvements at the intersection of Gleneagles Road and
Bar Harbor Lane and replace the culvert under Eagle Glen. Residents will
continue to see survey crews in the neighborhood to stake construction
improvements and limits. Survey crews may need to enter your property
for surveying property lines and locating physical features. While State law
authorizes entry on property to locate property lines and physical features,
no buildings or structures will be entered or disturbed. Utility companies
will also be on site to relocate conflicting utility lines prior to construction.
For more information about this project, please visit our website to view
project updates and exhibits at: http://stormwater.charmeck.org. Click
on Storm Water Projects drop down menu in the green bar, then Active
Projects and Shillington.
