STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Construction is underway for Brentwood Place Phase I Storm Drainage
Improvement Project. Work commenced within the railroad right-of-way,
southeast of the Remount Road/Wilkinson Boulevard intersection. Work within
the railroad right-of-way includes the installation of two drainage pipes beneath
the railroad tracks. After installation of these pipes, work will continue with the
installation of a reinforced concrete pipe on the north side of the railroad right-ofway, through private property and eventually across Remount Road.
Construction continues for Phase II. Storm water infrastructure has been installed
at Revolution Park. The parking lot has been paved and the Contractor is working
to stabilize remaining disturbed areas within the park. New pipe and culverts
have been installed across Barringer Drive and Brentwood Place. Channel
improvements have been installed between Barringer Drive and West Boulevard.
Work will continue to progress across West Boulevard. A new culvert and
associated retaining wall have been installed at Fordham Road.
Partial and full road closures will be utilized to facilitate the construction of the
storm drainage facilities in West Boulevard. Temporary construction traffic signage
will be utilized to direct motorists around the construction work zones. Detour
signage will be provided during full road closures.
