Alazmi, Ahmad Salamah Alanezi and Abdulmuhsen Ayedh Alqahtani This paper aims to examine the relationship between planning skills and the performance effectiveness of public school principals in the state of Kuwait. A survey method is used on a randomly selected sample of 200 principals from all main educational stages. Appropriate statistical methods are used in analyzing data which leads to several important results. The responses reveal a strong and positive correlation between planning skills and performance effectiveness through the educational process. The activation of the three planning skills (Human–Intellectual–Technical) of principals creates a path toward achieving the goals of the educational institutions. Relevant recommendations are included. ______________________ 1. Graduate student, Graduate College, Kuwait University.
