SCOPE OF WORK:
The West Ramp Expansion-Phase 2 Paving Project is to add concrete ramp (apron) pavement to support the new
Concourse A Expansion project. The project’s scope will include underground utility installation such as concrete
power and communication duct banks, jet fuel lines, grading, installation of concrete pavement and supporting
base, ramp and taxiway edge lighting, pavement markings for approximately 45 acres. The site is north of the
existing Concourse A, where the Rental Car Facilities used to be.
Bidders may obtain the complete Project Manual, including all plans, drawings, specifications and addenda (“Bid
Documents”) beginning February 17, 2016 after 3:00 pm from

All Bidders may request for free the “front end document” dated 3/23/2016 from Richa Graphics, less shipping and

Please NOTE: This is a re-bid of this project that opened bids on 3/17/2016. Bidders are encouraged to reuse the
original bid documents that were issued during the bid period of 2/15/2016 – 3/17/2016 which included drawings,
technical specs and addendums 1-3. The only exception to this is the Airport fronted documents, which have been
reissued on 3/23/2016 to state the new bid requirements, for convenience it includes the revised bid form that
was issued in addendum # 2 dated 3/9/2016.
Bidders should also note that this is a new bid and that issuance of any new addenda will begin with addendum #1
Bid Documents are non-refundable. Contact Richa Graphics for document and shipping costs. Please note, Richa
Graphics is the official PlanRoom provider for Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Bidders must be listed on
the plan holders list held by Richa Graphics in order to receive any Bid Documents.

Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged. All
visitors to the CLT Center are required to show photo ID and obtain a visitor’s pass from the CLT Center front desk.
Please allow time for this procedure as the Pre-Bid Conference and Bid Opening times can NOT be changed for any
reason.
