The Academic Support Center is open to all students at the university. As freshmen and transfer
students transition to AU, the ASC offers a variety of services that can be helpful: workshops on
study skills, time management, and writing topics; individual appointments with an academic
counselor; Writing Lab appointments; tutor referrals; and materials online and in the office.
In addition, the ASC works with students with learning disabilities and ADHD in arranging
accommodations and transitioning to the academic demands at AU.
