Sergiu Gândea graduated from Technical University, Chisinau, Moldova, also post-graduated from Moscow
Aviation Institute, is an Account Manager at Ericsson International Company in Moldova, also currently is hired
as consultant within UNDP project “Building e-Governance in Moldova-2”.
As an ICT expert he has been participating at elaboration of several important documents within UNDP projects,
like:
Elaboration of the National e-Strategy for Building an Information Society „Electronic Moldova” , 2004
Elaboration of ICT sector development strategy for next 2009-2011 period for Ministry of Information
Development of RM, 2008
Revision of the Methodological framework on e-development analysis and preparation of Moldova edevelopment Report 2009.
Mr. Gandea’s expertise spans over 9 years in ICT area such as marketing, sales, management and developing
of new business projects. As a former executive of two leading local ISP companies gained valuable experience
in identification of barriers and obstacles in development of ICT sector from Republic of Moldova. He is author or
co-author of more than 25 publications.
