Brief CV:
Since 1983, Mr. Sidorenco has been an associate Professor at the Faculty of Radio electronics and
Telecommunications with the Technical University of Moldova and Leading Specialist of RENAM. He
holds a PhD in Technical Sciences. He also serves as an Academician of International Informatization
Academy of the Moldova branch in a Consultative status with UN. Previously, since 1975 he worked as a
Senior Research Assistant at the Automated Test Equipment Engineering department of the Scientific and
Research institute “Quant” (Moldova).
Mr. Sidorenco is accredited at WSIS – World Summit for Information Society. As UNDP expert
participated at the development of the National strategy and Action Plan for Building the Information
Society in Moldova, the Concept and portal architecture of e-government, e-development assessment
methodology framework and report and other projects. As ITU-D expert had performed country-level
studies and consultative reports on different aspects of information society and ICT infrastructures in
Moldova, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus. Participated in a number of International projects, supported by EU
(FP6,7) and NATO Science Program.
Is co-author of more than 180 scientific and technical publications, including 11 patents of invention.
