Reliable = Please be on time, in the room when the bell rings.
Grading Policy
Students will be graded, based on the following:

Daily Participation (Attendance, Posture/Technique, and Work Habits)

Production Work/Projects

Timed Writings/Quizzes

Advanced W.P. Folders
33.3% of your grade is based on participation and your folder
33.3% of your grade will be based on production and projects
33.3% of your grade will be based on Timed Writings
Grading Scale
90%-100% A
80%-89% B
70%-79% C
60%-69% D
50%-59% F
Grades may be rounded.

3 Ringed Folder specifically for Advanced Word Processing

3 Ringed loose-leaf paper. Please do not use spiral bound

4 Tab dividers labeled: Journals, Timings, Production, and Misc.


Make-Up Work (
This is your responsibility)
For each excused absence, you are allowed one day to make-up work, tests, and projects. The computer lab will be open for make-up work at 7:30 A.M. and after school.
Please notify the teacher if you plan on coming in before or after school.

Computer Lab Guidelines (Additional Rules are posted in the Lab)
1. Please no food, candy, gum , or drinks in the room
2. Please do not change computer settings
3. Please do not enter another student’s folder
4. Please do not misuse, tamper with, damage, or deface equipment or data
Please note that if you do not follow these guidelines the result could be any or all of the following: a drop “F” in the class, suspension, and/or expulsion from the class/school.
