at 1:06 p.m.

1. AG-30 is a part of the Liberal Arts: Agriculture degree. If AG-30 is removed and replaced
by AG-32, it would have to be re-submitted to the Chancellor’s office for approval. If
AG-30 is just updated instead of inactivated, this course outline would have to be revised
to reflect the old data from AG-30. Franz would like to have this item tabled so that AG30 can be updated and resubmitted to the curriculum committee.

Discussion:
1. This course is repeatable to a maximum of four enrollments. If this course was to have
variable units, is there a unique course identifier to indicate the variable units? The
course should have a different course number to indicate the different unit value. This
will be useful when students transfer to other institutions.
2. There needs to me more consistency with using “A, B, C,” which indicates a sequence, in
the course numbering system.

1. This course is the lab component to AG-64. This specific course is held in during the Fall
Semester. A student can take AG-64F without being required to take AG-64S or vice
versa.
2. The course outline was originally numbered AG-64A and AG-64B, but will be changed
to AG-64F (fall) and AG-64S (spring) so it does not indicate a chronological sequence to
the courses.

Discussion:
1. Student could continue with enterprise plan developed for AG-65S, AG-65X or AG-65F
or would have to develop a new enterprise plan. If the student wants to develop a new
enterprise plan, this course proposal would require the student to sit through AG-65
(lecture portion) for no credit.
2. Franz Rulofson will design an AG-66 which would be the lecture component a student
takes to design an enterprise plan to be executed in the AG-66S, AG-66X, and AG-66F.
Committee would like to see AG-66 before voting on this item and items 4.9 and 4.10.
