Therefore, many clients choose to install patches on a asneeded basis. The best advice that I can give is to have the DBAs monitor the BPOST listserv which lists all upgrades and patches. If a patch is real important and needs to be installed, it will usually be noted. And, the DBAs can run any questionable patches past the functional teams to see if they feel that they are affected by the issue or can wait for the next upgrade. Does that make any sense or did I manage to confuse the issue? Smile. No other purchases The team leads need to be on BPOST and they can indicate to Chase/Greg that a patch needs applied. They would then contact the functional lead to test. System Security/General Person patches can be decided by Chase/Greg when to apply. We need to write up a written procedure on patches. Debbie will start this to present to ILT. There may be some misunderstanding regarding Marissa’s involvement in Banner. Sherry will look into this. Will look into this after round 2. Keep this in mind. They might could be used for data clean-up. She could used for setting up sleep-wake. No new items. June 15. Nolij Admissions Application training – Sherry will see if Doreen can do this training. We already have extra hours allocated so she didn’t think that would be extra but she will check. An issue arose that the consultant had more access than the team lead. Should the team leads have their access open up. The ILT agreed in June 3, 2009 meeting for Katia Mayfield and Aubree Helvey to have administrative access to Web Tailor Chase has finished updating the +4 zip code in address_dtl and pe_addr_dtl in ifas on the test system. Once Kelly and Rick are satisfied with the changes to these 2 tables, he will move it over to production. This is to accommodate OSF’s 5/1/09 requirement for all claim submissions. Met Kelly’s approval For R2, tables will be loaded in the same sequence as Sherry will ask the ILT. Debbie will visit with Rick after A/R training today.
