I.T.S. Team Meeting June 3, 2008 Attendees: Chase Bailey, Rick Clyburn, Cheryl Davis, Greg Duncan, Julie Duncan, Debbie Goode, Kurt Jn Marie, Dawne Massey, Angela Melton, Scott Putney, Kelly Simon 1. Minutes from May 6 – Approved. 2. SBI Tickets – There were only two tickets out with SBI, so we didn’t meet with Gina. 3. Next Meeting – July 1 at 10 am CST. 4. General Updates from Various areas OU Nursing – Cheryl is still trying to clean up the AR export table to get it to feed in correctly. They are using the old system for summer enrollment. If she can get the file ftp’d over, the insight command may be able to load it. Cheryl will meet with Dawne and Rick and see if they can work together to figure it out. Fleet Management – The hardware was ordered yesterday but the servers won’t be in until July 1. Online payment with XAP application – The store front was created yesterday and students can pay their admissions fee online now. Kelly sent email to the admissions international office and to Greg and Julie right before the meeting that all links to the old application can be removed. Everyone is able to use the XAP application now. Banner Contract – The contract was signed last Thursday. Darren can schedule the kick off now. Sherry Hendrix is our project manager from EduServe and she starts this Thursday. Business Continuity Plans – Directors were told at the last Steering Committee meeting to work on their backup plans for if they can’t get to the computer. The auditors will need to see this. Office 2007 – All labs that wanted to have been updated to Office 07. Student Conduct Software – Jennifer Holland is currently research software to deal with judicial matters. Online Credit Card Payments – These are going well and Ninette indicated we are getting several a day now. Venting for Computer Rack – This has still not been done. Debbie will contact Physical Facilities about this again. Parent MyCU logins – The Steering Committee is curious what would be involved for parents to have myCU logins. Julie indicated that each person would have to have an entry in BOX for this to happen and then accounts sent up for them in SHP. Banner training room – 15 new computers have been ordered for S. Shepler 407 to use this room for Banner training. We will need to work with Frank Zittle and Megan Carter to schedule the room. OK College Start – Debbie was contacted by another university asking questions about how Cameron set up our OK College Start site. The regents had told them that we were one of the premier sites. Auditor – Larry will be back soon to finish the audit, but not sure when at this point. Task Lists GinaMarie Moy/SBI CU 1. -1. Cheryl, Rick and Dawne to meet about OU nursing. 2.
