For Immediate Release – Lawton, OK, June 29, 2004 Cameron announces scholarship winners As part of Cameron University’s expanded scholarship program, 20 Southwest Oklahoma students have been named recipients of the CU Academic Excellence Scholarship for the 2004 fall semester. These scholarships, valued at $6,000 each, are awarded to students who have an ACT score of 27-29 and a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.00. “Cameron University has a vested interest in providing scholarship assistance to its students,” said President Cindy Ross. “These young people are the key to the growth and prosperity of this part of the state and we are pleased to help them reach their educational goals.” Scholarship recipients, by hometown, are: Chickasha: Tim Schlittenhardt.
