Resolution Creating a Child Care Task Force Passed out of FAC 10-13-2010 by a vote of 8 (for)-0 (against)-0 (abstain) Whereas the availability, quality and cost of child care are important for faculty, staff and the university community. Whereas many in the university community have trouble finding adequate child care. Whereas it is an important and appropriate role for the University to help determine if there is a child care problem and if there is one, work to solve that problem. Be it resolved that the Faculty Senate create a Task Force on Child Care where the membership consists of one member from the Faculty Affairs Council, one member from the Staff Senate, one member from the local chapter of the American Association of University Women, one member from the Division of Student Affairs and three members from at-large.
