Earth Day (4/22/10) on the UC Lawn was a big success. Thank you for your
support!

Performance contracting project Investment Grade Audit Phase is 80%
complete. Construction will begin Nov 2010. Scope includes energy
efficiency upgrades to light, HVAC, BAS, building envelope, solar, etc.
(Ramsey, Hunter, McKee, Stillwell, Hoey, Coulter).

Energy Management applied for $700K ARRA grant to retro commission HFR
Administration building. Will hear results in May

Karrie Joseph announced National Bike to Work Day on 5/21/10. Mad Batter
will be giving out free coffee and muffin to participants.


Suggestion to change printing setup in PAW Print to allow for ease to print
double sided.


Provide educational workshops for faculty and staff on campus

Sustainability commitment/pledge for faculty and staff.
Green living guide for incoming students, Residential Living,
faculty & staff. Shauna Young was working on one. Lauren will
contact.
Monthly tips – email to campus.
Send Residential Living letter about reducing bottle waste at
move-in. Create move signage to recycle cardboard.
Eco CATS to conduct energy/”lights on” assessment. Send
energy hogs pledge or tip sheet.
Create chairs for each sub-committee
Top 3 priorities: establish sub-committee chairs, create website, and
create green virtual tours. Further discussion needed at next meeting.
