Updates from Energy Management Office (EMO).

Planning Earth Day 4/22/10 on the UC Lawn. (Aramark, Eco CATS & EMO to sponsor
event). Participants include: Base Camp, Wellness Center, Yellow Bike Program, EMO,
Sustainability Council, Service Learning, WATR, Resdential Living, live bluegrass,
POWER 90, plus more..

Suggestions included inviting local farmers and restaurants that serve local, healthy food.

Creating a display or information as a follow up to Tuck River water cleanup.

Develop mission statement for the SC.

As a leader in our university, local and regional communities the Sustainability Council strives to
support, facilitate and increase awareness of sustainable practices throughout our environment.
Conclusions:
SC decided on the above mission statement.
