Task

Action
ECA will, subject to the completion and receipt of the
dependencies set out in this process, where an application
for an employee that has been submitted,:

Issue regrading letter to employee

Check that the request conforms with the Annual
review, or Ad hoc Request procedure for
regradings; and
validate the authorisation of the form
If the post is grant funded only, send to the respective
Finance team:

Notification of a post that has been regraded, and
cessation of any allowances in lieu of this
Provide the HR Payroll team with:

A Payroll Action Form detailing; changes to grade,
effective date, and any changes to allowances currently
being paid to the employee
Provide the Head of Department (HoD), for their distribution and
retention, with:


One letter informing the HoD of the regrading; and
Two letters, informing the employee of the; regrading,
effective date, and any changes to allowances.
