Stat 330A Final Exam Info. (Spring 2015)
1. Where to go and when?
- Durham 0171
- May 6 (Wednesday) Time: 7:30-9:30 a.m.
2. What to study?
- Comprehensive coverage of all material used for Exams I, II, and III
- Material after Midterm 3
- Estimation, Confidence Intervals, Hypothesis Tests
- Straight Line Regression
- All Lectures (plus Dr. Hofmann’s Lecture Notes: Ch 2-Ch 6)
- Look at practice problems for all exams, and this semester midterms carefully.
- Expect 6-8 questions, each with several parts.
3. What to bring?
- Any number of formula sheets You can write definitions, theorems, formulas,
etc. (anything you think will be useful) on your “formula sheet.” OR use the
formula sheet supplied. Do not include problems and/or solutions from
practice questions or homework. I will not collect your formula sheets.

You must have you ISU Id card with you. I may require you to display it if necessary.
4. What I will provide (with the exam):
- CDF’s of Binomial, Poisson, and Normal distributions from Appendix A of
Dr. Hofmann’s notes and t-table from Baron
- A table with pdf’s/pmf’s means, and variances of specific discrete
and continuous distributions.
