Dr. Cosand recommended the Board cancel the extended time project, previously

Acceptance O f Bids For Furniture
Dr. Cosand reported to the Board that M r . Tony Lipinski, Purchasing Agent of the
District, had spent several months preparing specifications and evaluating the bids received
for furniture.
"Hiese bids include furniture items for the permanent buildings of a l l three
campuses, but primarily are for the completed buildings of the first phase of Forest Park Campu:.
The faculties at each campus have been intimately involved in the selection of this furniture.
These items include a wide variety of furniture, but exclude technical equipment such as

television responder units for the lecture rooms.
Because of the volume of furniture presented for Board approval, Board President Stev/art

suggested the Board only consider action at this meeting on those items recommended by the
District staff for rejection of bids received and rebidding of those items.
