Includes clarifying values and goals, increasing self-esteem, and identification of college resources to effect success. Designed for women returning to the job market. 1 hour. Prerequisite Skills: None Expected Outcomes for Students: Upon completion of this course the student should be able to: 1. demonstrate an increase in self-esteem and ability to cope with difficult transitions; 2. develop knowledge of individual interests, values, skills and needs; 3. demonstrate knowledge of college resources to help them become job-ready (Counseling Center, Library, Employment and Career Services Center, programs of study, Career/Transfer Center); 4. apply the above knowledge to make future decisions; 5. address goal setting.
