competitive entry class comprised
of senior finance majors. These
undergraduates manage a longonly equity fund which is limited to

$1 billion or greater. The SMP looks
primarily at stocks with relatively
attractive price multiples, strong
dividend yield, solid financial
statements, and strong long term
growth prospects, among other
factors.

Ryan Minato- Senior Analyst
Ryan is a senior finance major graduating in Summer 2015. He started his
college career as an aerospace engineering major before discovering his
passion lies in financial and economic analysis and portfolio management.
He has worked as a Peer Assistant for the NIU Finance Department and
participated in an Experiential Learning Team project for McDonald’s
which focused on analyzing and developing digital marketing strategies
for teenage customers. He hopes to secure a job in investment
management upon graduation.
