SMOV Status & Planning Meeting Notes 6/24/09 Notes provided by Burley (richard.j.burley@nasa.gov), Biagetti (biagetti@stsci.edu, and others as indicated. - Summary: The meeting included an ops briefing for the upcoming Vehicle Disturbance Test and associated gyro reconfigurations. The SI C&DH anomaly investigation continues; the ARB reports out tomorrow, possibly with recommendations for upcoming SMOV operations. Pending these recommendations, COS NUV and STIS MAMA operations remain temporarily halted. The ACS suspended mid-day, yesterday, apparently due to a loss of communication between the CS and the ASIC. A tiger-team investigation is underway. WFC3 has been returned to normal Operate mode and is performing internals. Its first external observation is scheduled for late today. The COS recovery from yesterday’s Suspend was successfully completed in time for the scheduled resumption of the FUV highvoltage ramp-up. STIS CCD internals are continuing. - Observatory Status - o PCS/SAC Nominal The VDT3 is scheduled for tomorrow, June 25 (DOY 176) • Gyro456 configuration today • Gyro345 post-VDT • For ops briefing, see attached Ops Briefing_VDT_v5 24JUN09 o EPS o TCS: JAbel Nominal STIS MEB1 thermal analysis report today at 2pm. o I&C Nominal o DMS Nominal o 486FSW Nominal o SAFING Nominal o SIC&DH & P/L FSW B-Side operation continues Support for DOY 166 CU/SDF Lockup investigation continues • ARB status report, Thursday 25 June, 9 am.
