CHANT MASS- This week, we begin using Michael Burgo’s Chant Mass Eucharistic Acclamations, a setting based
on Gregorian Chant melodies. It is of great importance that the sung prayers of the Mass are prayed by all, so if
you are unfamiliar with this music, you can find it pasted into the inside covers of most of the blue GATHER
Books. You may also become familiar with these acclamations by downloading and listening to a recording of our
choir singing them at http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/prs/stign/music_ministry.html.
TWENTY-FIFTH ANNUAL LAWN PARTY – Blessed John XXIII National Seminary is hosting its 25th

Route 30 in Weston, the seminary prepares older, second career candidates for the priesthood. For ticket

MINISTERS FOR FAMILY M ASS – Part of our Christian faith is a call to service. While we tend to see
this globally or as outreach to those who are vulnerable, service is also necessary to our own community.
Family Mass resumed on September 10, and we know that we are especially in need of
liturgy coordinators for that liturgy. We are also seeking Eucharistic ministers and lectors
for this upcoming year for the Family Mass. If you are interested, please contact Melisa or
