Identify geographic and target populations of interest for human services programming. Identify and inventory current and potential sources of human services data. Analyze and forecast data and share results of analyses. Facilitate joint planning of interventions/programs to address shared challenges. Create reports using county-wide cross-departmental data for the purpose of identifying needs and/or evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of human services initiatives. Facilitate joint programming among all human service departments. Coordinate and facilitate meetings on data collaboration. Distinguishing Factors This classification is distinguished from the administrative series by the scope and analytical requirements such as performing program analysis to determine trends and working with the department director to forecast operational needs. Knowledge of relevant state laws and local ordinances governing department operations. Knowledge of County government departments and functions. Skills in project management. Ability to identify relevant data sources and to compile data from different sources into comprehensive reports. Knowledge of basic statistical reporting techniques. Ability to use GIS and/or geocoding technologies preferred. Ability to retrieve information from databases and data warehouses. Minimum Qualifications Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in business management, public administration, or related field and one year of related experience. Requires strong written and oral communication skills. Prefer applicant with a Master’s Degree in a human services or public administration field.
