ways of Ignatian prayer and give you some foundation in the Spiritual Exercises may also lead to
your participation in making the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life which will be offered in the parish beginning
in the Autumn of 2010. "Praying with Ignatius" will begin on November 1st and be offered on alternate Sundays

THE ENNEAGRAM - Have you ever wondered why you do the things you do? And why other people do the
things they do? The Enneagram is an ancient method of personality typing which has been used for centuries to
increase self-knowledge. Because the Enneagram is basically an oral tradition, it is best learned in workshops. Gail
O’Donnell, RSCJ has been giving Enneagram workshops since 1980 and will be the presenter of a workshop to be
held on Saturday November 14, 2009 from 9:30-4:30 in the Friary Room. The cost is $30.00. Please bring your own
lunch (or you can go across the street to a sandwich shop). Coffee, drinks and snacks will be provided. During the
workshop, presentations will be given on each of the nine personality types in the Enneagram, and reflection
questions will be offered to help each participant identify his or her "number". An appreciation for why we act the
way we do, as well as why others act differently, can serve to facilitate reconciliation within ourselves, our
relationships and the communities in which we live. Please email mtracy@sjnen.org if you are interested in
attending. Space is limited.
