Social Services Director
Wake County Human Services is seeking to hire a Director of Social Services. The Director of Social
Services is a senior management position responsible for leading a large division, directing/developing
and managing a comprehensive service system.
The Director of Social Services will develop a performance management system for the division to
strengthen management staff in identifying and addressing performance issues, developing processes to
ensure productivity/accountability.
Actively engage in successful planning and execution of the Healthy Capital County and Human Capital
Development initiatives. Develop and organize training protocol that certifies and builds competences
with staff and transform division system to be results focused.
