Job Description
Saint Jude Catholic Church is seeking a passionate disciple to fill the role of Director of Faith
Formation starting in July 2016.
The Director of Faith Formation is responsible for coordinating and implementing catechesis at all
levels and for preparation in the Sacraments of Initiation at St. Jude Catholic Church and School.
This includes leading the Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), teaching 7th and 8th grade
religion in the parish school, and overseeing ongoing adult faith formation and K-8 parish religious
education. The director is responsible for liturgical preparation pertaining to these areas of the
parish.
The candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
The ideal candidate will:
-be an intentional disciple who seeks to form other disciples
-possess a master's degree in theology, catechesis, or related area
-be able to oversee multiple ministries at the same time
-have at least 1-3 years relevant experience
Salary is commensurate with experience.
