RECENT ACTIVITIES
Since September, 2002, I have been teaching accounting at The Ohio State University. Currently, I am
employed full-time as a faculty member at the Fisher College of Business. Teaching responsibilities
include courses in financial and managerial accounting for undergraduate students; a combined
financial/managerial course for MBLE majors, and the graduate level case study course in Managerial
Accounting. Also, I have prepared and taught an MBA elective titled “Implementing Corporate
Strategy”. In addition, I wrote a case study quantifying the financial benefits of Lean Manufacturing,
which is taught in the Executive Education section of the Fisher College of Business.

A. President, Commercial Vehicle Systems
1/98 – 1/01
Senior executive with direct line responsibility for $2.5 billion worldwide business.
Products included axles, brakes, drivelines, transmissions, clutches and ABS. Employment level
of 13,000 with 28 facilities located in 13 countries. Board member of joint ventures in Brazil,
China, Germany, India and Mexico.
 Increased sales from $1.7 billion in 1997 to $2.5 billion in 1999 with improved operating
margins.
 Made two major acquisitions including Volvo’s axle plant in Sweden and LucasVarity’s
Heavy Vehicle Braking Systems (Europe and North America).
 Formed North American joint venture with ZF on heavy duty transmissions.
