General. When the OPLAN is implemented, the operational electronic intelligence (ELINT) collection and dissemination of ELINT products in support of CFC mission is the responsibility of the COMJTF KOREA in the JOA. Coordination with USPACOM J2 will be effected both before and during the planning and operational phases. 2. Prior to Implementation of OPLAN a. Classification. The JTF KOREA J2 will ensure that the lowest classification possible will be assigned consistent with established security guidelines. b. Time. The maximum delay acceptable for receipt of information is 10 minutes after recognition. Exceptions to this will require CJG2 coordination. (1) LOC ACC. The established maximum distance for which the information is useful for 95 percent confidence is within 15km of center of mass or within 50km of emitter location. (2) Periodicity. The maximum amount of time that should pass before covering the target again is once every 24 hours. CJG2 may have to shift priorities as changes in area requirements arise. Notification of changes in coverage will be passed to the JTF KOREA J2 within 6 hours of the decision. c. User Echelon. JTF KOREA Service Component units d. Geographic Area. See Annex B. e. Justification. Detailed justification not required. 3. Upon Implementation of the OPLAN. The JTF KOREA J2 will determine the ELINT collection and dissemination requirements that become relevant upon implementation of the plan, and forward to the CJG2 for approval. Support will be provided based upon the collection capabilities and availability at that time. Reflect additional requirements for support to planned phases of combat operations as required.
