WHEREAS: The Northern Iowa Student Government recognizes the life of University of
Northern Iowa sophomore Kyle Raarup; and
RECOGNIZING: that Kyle was a driven student, majoring in marketing. He was involved
throughout campus. He was a Treasurer for Dancer Hall Senate, and working as a desk assistant
at Dancer Hall; and
RECOGNIZING: that Kyle impacted many students during his time at the University of
Northern Iowa. He had a fruitful life ahead of him, planning to study abroad in Australia; and
FURTHER RECOGNIZING: that Kyle’s bright smile, great attitude, and presence will be
missed greatly by his UNI family; and
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED: that the Northern Iowa Student Government expresses its
deepest sympathies to Kyle Raarup’s family and friends, the UNI College of Business, Dancer
Hall, and all others who loved him very much; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the original copy of this resolution be presented to Kyle
Raarup’s immediate family, and that copies be sent to all appropriate places at the Speaker’s
discretion.
