A MODEL OF TIERED CONTENT LITERACY INSTRUCTION, GRADES 4-12
Abstract:
Cleveland County Schools will share a professional development model it has adopted
that trains teachers of all subjects to embed literacy instruction into content teaching.
This session will review how the following comprehension strategies support an MTSS
literacy plan: topic webs, two-column notes, summary, and question generation by
students.
