VEISHEA Set to Kick Off
April 16, 2007 - Iowa State University's VEISHEA celebration kicks off today
with bar-b-que's, disc golf tournaments, and a tractor show.
Rapper Biz Markie, comedian Billy Burr and the rock group Saliva are just a few
of the headliners of the entertainment schedule.
Today, Jodie Sweetin, from the show "Full House," will talk about her recovery
from drug addiction at 8 p.m. at the Memorial Union.
The finals of "Cyclone Idol," the Iowa State version of "American Idol" will be
Tuesday night. And on Saturday, ten bands are scheduled to play at "Live @
VEISHEA."
