Carefully read Chapter 9 in your text to gain additional understanding on the importance and
techniques of hand drawing in engineering. With the advent of computer design software, our
hand sketching skills sometimes are not as polished as they need to be. This assignment gives
you a chance to practice simple lines and curves.
Deliverables:
o Complete problems 9.3 – 9.6 on a page in your notebook. You must do this in pencil,
and as a sketch. No additional tools (outside of an eraser) are allowed. You may copy
and glue page 270 into your notebook for this exercise if you desire. Be sure to sign (in
pen) and date the bottom of the notebook page when you are done.
