The Task
Plant operations these days are highly challenging
in terms of having trained and qualified staff
and that even with a highly automated system.
Fully trained staff that knows how to operate
within the technical environment and has indepth knowledge of the plant processes is
indispensable for safe, reliable and efficient
plant operation, especially in critical situations.
Of course, operational staff should be trained
most effectively and even before plant operation
starts. Effectiveness with regard to trainings is
a result of an affordable training tool, a training
method that allows to get the highest learning
effect and repeatability of the training without
additional investment.
Our Solution
The ready to use SPPA-S3000 Reference Plant
Simulator contains the original system
components of the SPPA-T3000 Control System.
This Operator Training Simulator utilizes the
original real-world proven power plant process
model of a Siemens reference power plant
(SSP5-6000 USC). It provides the original
Human Machine Interface (HMI) and all details
are a full scope replica of this reference plant.
The Reference Plant Simulator enables hands-on
practice of all possible operational scenarios.
The trainings are repeatable, so that operational
staff can become acquainted with routine
operations and learn how to react safely and
quickly even in case of critical situations.
The use of the simulator is risk-free, as it has
no impact on plant availability or production.
The off-the-shelf solution fulfills norm
ANSI/ ISA-77.20.01-2012. It can be delivered
in short notice time, offering a high fidelity
operator training at feasible investment volume.
