We kindly invite you to attend the Siemens booth at POWER-GEN Europe 2015 exhibition and conference.
Experience our uniquely extensive expertise in the electricity market that ensures perfect support, whether you’re planning to invest in new power plant capacities or to improve your existing capacities. As your trusted partner, we run a trustworthy people business and create lasting value by consulting with you to achieve a compelling return on investment with manageable expenditures.
Visit us at booth 1C7 and discover our cutting-edge products and solutions such as our first oil-free steam turbine, the new release of our SPPA-T3000 R7, and our new combined gas turbine portfolio for central and distributed power generation and combined heat and power. In addition, 360° images will provide inside views of our
H-class power plants.
Record-breaking power plant solutions
As one of the world’s leading OEM and EPC providers, we have 130 years of experience in the construction of turnkey power plants with extremely high efficiency levels, low emissions, and state-of-the art technology, as demonstrated by more than 1,500 Siemens power plants currently in commercial operation worldwide. Each power plant is tailored to the operator’s needs and features outstanding quality in every performance category.
At the fair, our experts will be presenting practical examples, such as the world’s most efficient CHP plant, in Düsseldorf, Germany, and the Gorzów combined cycle power plant in Poland, which will replace a currently used coal-fired block at the same location and set new benchmarks in lowering emissions.
Extended gas turbine portfolio
The record-breaking Siemens H-class will be the center of interest at our booth, and you will have the opportunity to discuss with peers and experts the fleet experience from more than 16 turbines in commercial operation. Other focus topics will be our new combined portfolio of industrial and aeroderivative gas turbines. The acquisition of
Rolls-Royce aero-engine technology has further expanded our world-class gas turbine offering. A large-scale 3D display table will provide detailed insights into advanced turbine technology for power generation as well as industrial and oil and gas applications.
Don’t miss the opportunity to join Wolfgang
Konrad, CEO of our Distributed Generation
Business, during his opening keynote address for inspiring thoughts on small-scale power generation.
First oil-free steam turbine in operation
We have successfully set an oil-free steam turbine in operation: The SST-600 operates as a boiler feed water pump drive in a German power plant. The steam turbine operates with contact-free magnetic bearings and electrohydraulic valve actuators. Learn more about our experiences from the prototype operation at our Xpert center.
Power generation services
Our aim is to deliver the right service solutions for your gas turbine, steam turbine, or generator to increase efficiency, reliability, and availability throughout the entire lifecycle of your assets. From modernizations and upgrades, remote monitoring, lifetime extensions, and condition monitoring to turnkey service, we support you to achieve optimal performance and maximize success. We offer a comprehensive range of solutions within the sope of our Flex-Power Services™ initiative, especially in the area of operational flexibility.
Generator and drive systems
Our reliable, highly efficient generators cover the power range from 0.3 to 2,235 MVA. We provide solutions customized for gas, steam, synchronous condenser, and oil and gas applications on- and offshore. And our Integrated Drive Systems for pumps, fans, blowers, crushers, and conveyor belts help ensure reliable operation of auxiliary processes.
New release of the SPPA-T3000 control system: raising performance in power plant operation
SPPA-T3000 is designed to help you get the most out of your plant through outstanding operator effectiveness and efficiency. The control system enables simple, reliable dayto-day operation and quick reaction in critical situations. All work processes are optimally supported through features such as ergonomic design, the integration of applications, clear instructions, and transparency of upcoming issues.
CO

capture with PostCap
Discuss with our experts how to best integrate CO
2
capture into your power generation facilities. Benefit from the expertise we have gained from extensive carbon capture pilot tests and in-depth FEED studies. Receive assistance in defining capture-ready measures and discover the benefits of PostCap™, our amino acid salt-based solution for coalbased power generation.
Strong and flexible: FLENDER ARPEX ART high-performance couplings
Experience the strengths of our ARPEX ART high-performance couplings. They are used in all high-speed drive systems that require torque transfer with shaft displacement occurring simultaneously. Their compact design allows for compensation of all the expected displacements in a very small space. At the same time, ARPEX ART highperformance couplings feature the highest possible torque capacity, low weight, and a good center of gravity.
