Women’s Basketball and Track will compete at nationals
Two BHSU athletic teams are headed to DII championship competitions this week creating a March madness atmosphere on campus and throughout the region. The BHSU women’s basketball team made history when they were selected for the University’s first‐ever
Division II national tournament. The team, which finished the season ranked fifth, received an at‐large bid to the “big dance.” Five track team members qualified for the Indoor Track and Field NCAA Division II indoor national championships. They will compete in shot put and weight throw, the mile run, and the distance medley.
Celebrate this historic achievement and show our support for the teams.
Wear your Green and Gold and/or BHSU apparel on Thursday. The Jacket Zone has apparel discounted 20% on Wednesday and
Thursday (at all locations).
Stop by the Jacket Zone in downtown Spearfish to sign the giant “good luck” cards.
BB game time is 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Watch the game online (See www.BHSUAthletics.com
for link and pay‐per‐view details). The
Stadium in downtown Spearfish will be showing the game. The game will also be shown at the Joy Center on campus.
