New Project Ideas
DRAW
Greg Martin – youth director at church, series of Tornadoes hit in Alabama, disaster relief, want to do
something to help, most homes were piles of rubble, trees down, sort through houses for valuables,
patched roofs, people saw themselves as survivors not victims and wanted to help with recovery, major
relief organizations missing some things that people need immediately following disasters, DRAW
(disaster relief at work) began in March, supply chain into 5-gallon buckets, be the bucket people/bucket
brigade, been to roughly six disaster relief areas [drawbuckets.org, facebook.com/drawbuckets], invite
people to fill buckets, have a bucket list, customized for different disasters, if you want to go, will train
on the way so anyone who wants to go can go, warehouse in Waterford, MI (2 hours away)
 awareness
 drive for stuff for the buckets
 bucket assemblers/organization
 get in the car
HEIGHTS OF HOPE PROGRAM
