Status Update 1. had a meeting to chat about it 2. extremely excited to be partnering 3. planning on doing 3 tiered fundraising a) wheelchair challenge (1) 14 chairs have been given to Hope for the week (2) get a team and each person spends 1 day in the chair b) benefit concert – April 12th (1) likely in the Kletz (2) structured open-mike – invite Hope groups (3) Dean Frost is willing to match the dollar amount raised c) create a pamphlet and letter (1) send to alumni (2) send to churches that have a heart for serving the disabled d) another idea could be an up-down tennis tournament e) frolf tournament (1) working through kinks (2) hoping for 42 teams, 4 people per team (a) sign up as group (b) winners names would be inscribed on the trophy (c) sustainable fundraiser – could pass between groups i) working on t-shirts ii) help develop new Hope tradition B.
