The ever-increasing cost of downtime, even in non-mission critical data centers, has made
network operations centers or NOCs one of the most vital pieces of the IT infrastructure. This

for alerts from their desks. Then, they can quickly access screens or sessions displayed on the
video wall and share them with other engineers to collaboratively troubleshoot. In cases where
a vital system goes down in the NOC, a couple of keystrokes from the operators allow them
access to a redundant system without them leaving their chairs.
