Inspect equipment and diagnose trouble or malfunctions. Analyze equipment failures, determine cause and make necessary adjustments. Minimum Qualifications: Relevant coursework/specialized training or equivalent. Completion of a 4 year apprentice program or graduation from a recognized vocational technical school in electronics. (OR experience as an electrician in a commercial or residential environment.) Electronics Technician Build, test, trouble-shoot, repair and modify electronic and electrical equipment. Research and investigate technical reference data, prepare preliminary sketches, schematics and diagrams. Provide technical assistance in design, layout, procurement, construction, and testing of electrical and electronic equipment. Assist in the construction, installation and testing of prototype electrical and electronic equipment. Minimum Qualifications: Relevant coursework/specialized training or equivalent. Graduation from a recognized vocational technical school in electronics. 2 years electronics experience. Electrician II Repair complex electrical equipment, including automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems and alarms. Install electrical equipment with minimal instructions. Diagnose problems, replaces or repairs parts, detects and replaces defective control modules. Perform complex wiring assignments. Install power, light, electronic and control circuits. Minimum Qualifications: Relevant coursework/specialized training or equivalent. Completion of a 4 year apprentice program or graduation from a recognized vocational technical school in electronics. 2 years experience as an electrician in a commercial or residential environment. A valid City of Omaha or State of Nebraska Journeyman's or Master Electrician's license. A valid Fire Alarm License issued by the State of Nebraska within 9 months of hire date.
