Product Introduction
Dettol liquid hand wash containing Lavender and Grape Extracts, its unique formulation
kindly soothes the skin to leave your family's hands feeling calmed, soft and protected from
bacteria. Washing your hands is important to prevent the spread of bacteria that can cause
illness-causing bacteria and help your family stay healthy.
This dettol liquid handwash leaves hands feeling soft, moisturised and protected from
bacteria. It is dermatologically tested and available in a 250ml pump. It gives a good job, smell,
refreshing scent, and pleasing packaging. Its package type is dispenser. This dettol liquid
handwash not only provides your skin with a delicate care and fresh fragrance, it also kills 99.9%
of bacteria.
It is the only product on the market with this unique formulation and is priced to
encourage regular usage and not be prohibitive when making the choice of safe care for you and
your family. Use In the Home, Office, Gym, hiking, camping on holiday, Hospital, care homes
anywhere!!!
Using soap and water is not always convenient and in some cases ineffectual in killing hand born

Product ingredients and functionality:
1.
Ammonium laureth sulfate: detergents that act on the hair or skin to emulsify, lift, and
remove dirt; usually more than one is present in a product because they need buffering.
2.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine: used as a surfactant in bath products and act as an emulsifying
agent and thickener, and to reduce irritation purely ionic surfactants would cause. It also serves
as an antistatic agent in hair conditioners.
3.
Glycerin: widely used in pharmaceutical formulations and responsible for its solubility in
water and its hygroscopic nature.
4.
Calcium Chloride: can be used to make a caviar substitute from vegetable or fruit juices
and used to increase calcium levels as it dissolves readily in water.
5.
Benzoic acid: inhibits the growth of mold, yeast and some bacteria thus protecting the
body from infections.
6.
EDTA: used In metallography to remove staining due to etchants
7.
Methylchloroisothiazolinone: useful and effective against gram-positive and gram-
negative bacteria, yeast and fungi.
8.
Methylisothiazolinone: used as it utilized for controlling microbial growth in water-
containing solutions.
9.
Parfum: known also as perfume and it produce fine fragrance is typically ethanol or a mix
of water and ethanol.
10.
Coumarin: has a sweet scent, readily recognised as the scent of newly-mown hay, and
has been used in perfumes and has clinical medical value as the precursor for several
anticoagulants, notably warfarin.
11.
Methylparaben: used as an antifungal widely and also acting as a bacteriostatic agent
and preservative.
12.
Propylparaben: It is a preservative typically found in many water-based bath products.
13.
Citric Acid: used to serves as an environmentally benign cleaning agent and acts as an
antioxidant and also used as a natural preservative.

Product Indication:
1.
Ensure the cap is tight when closed it, turn the pump clockwise until it clicks into place.
Next, simply pump to dispense thus take some of the soaps to Wash hands and rinse thoroughly.

For Safety, avoid direct contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately
with plenty of water.
3.
Do not eat or swallow the liquid. Only for use with skin contact purpose.

Corporate achievement:
24 October 2001: There were 902 casualties as a result of road traffic accidents in the Swindon
Borough, including four fatalities. Costing the community £29m, Swindon Borough Council
committed to implementing traffic schemes that will reduce accidents. There are currently 14 fulltime School Crossing Patrollers, ("Lollipop Ladies") covering 19 sites across the Borough.
Established in 1953, Swindon's lollipop ladies are a key element of Swindon's road safety
campaign. The Swindon Borough Council contacted The Foundation after reading about the
'Reflect and Protect' program with Covingham Infant School. To support the efforts of traffic
safety for children, The Dettol Foundation donated new safety tabards for the Lollipop Ladies.

to reduce the products’ Total Carbon Footprint by 20% per unit by 2020, against a base year of
2007. This means the company are working to ensure that, by 2020, the average carbon footprint
of our global products will be 20% smaller than it is in 2007. With a Total Carbon Footprint in
2007 of approximately 20 million tonnes, the result will equate to a saving of about 4 million
tonnes of CO2 equivalents in terms of annual emissions – which is the same as taking more than
1 million medium sized family cars off the road, or 15 years of the emissions from our global
manufacturing facilities!
