What is Web 2.0:
Web 2.0 is a term that is used to show and refer the new generation of the World
Wide Web and was invented by the O’Reilly Web 2.0 provides a high class of online
user interactions and sharing their ideas by posting comments or blogs. Since the
arrival of web 2.0 and its development, many sites have grown or started to support
the new idea of web 2.0, these are some examples of what
is in web 2.0:
1. Social Networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and
MySpace, these allow you to interact and share ideas
with online users around the world.
2. Blogs such as YouTube, which allows you to express
updates and ideas about yourself and other people.
3. Wikis such as Wikipedia and Wikianswers, which allows
you to input and output information about almost anything in the world!
4. Finally, web applications which allow you to download and run browser and apps
onto your computer.
How did web 2.0 develop in todays society?:
Web 2.0 started in the year 2004 and hadn’t been as developed as it is now, if you
notice now, the main reason of the web is just because of The Web 2.0’s invention
as many people now days express the ideas through Social Networking. So, the web
2.0 developed rapidly in the past 6 or 7 years due to the fact of people connecting
through social networking and blogs and also researching using wikis as I am write

Which type of people use Web 2.0:
Of course I and you and almost everyone in the world uses web 2.0 however for fun
and sharing ideas. However, these people are the main people that might also use it
for fun, however they also use it for other reasons that involve business here they
are:
1. Podcasters
2. Bloggers
3. Social bookmarkers
4. Finally the main one: Social networkers!
Advantages and disadvantages of web 2.0:
Although you might think, there is no problem with web 2.0 or how can it have
disadvantages, it does have both advantages and disadvantages. Here as some
advantages:
1. Anyone can use it from anywhere, as long as they have Wi-Fi or 3G.
2. It allows a large variety of people to share their ideas and communicate together.
3. There is many more but these are the main. Finally, you can install applications
off it.
Some disadvantages are:
1. Websites can be used for vandalism since you can edit almost anything.
2. People can find out lots of stuff about you if you don’t secure your page
Which elements of web 2.0 suites students?:
From my opinion I think the main element that suits us student of web 2.0 is the fact of
blogs such as wikis and social networking sites such as twitter or Facebook because they
allow us to express our ideas and what’s happening in our life to other friends that
might give us advice and also helps us communicate with friends without using phones
etc.

I think the most one used world-wide is Facebook, then YouTube, then

You might think that social networking site owners don’t earn money,
however they do, all those advertisements on facebok and youtube,
people who put them pay for it. Another way is by them selling part of
