The purpose of the project is to showcase what YOU have learned to talk about in Spanish. Avoid using the dictionary too much because then the project is not your own. 1. Libro de niños: fairy tale. Spend about half of the book describing the characters, setting, and background information. Then tell about what happened one day . . . Think about fairy tales you have read and follow that format. Keep it simple. Must include Cover in color Some kind of binding Color pictures on each page First line should begin “Once there was…” in Spanish 2. Libro de niños: El _____ que vivía en mi _____. Describe it and tell what it used to do there. Also finish with something it once did and what happened. Must include Cover in color Some kind of binding Color pictures on each page 3. Un Día Festivo. Create a voicethread to share pictures of your favorite holiday. Go to www.voicethread.com, click BROWSE and learn what a voicethread is, then click CREATE to create your own. Put in at least 7 pictures of your favorite holiday, and share how your family celebrated when you were little (use the imperfect). Tell about decorations, activities, who celebrated with you, special foods, etc… You can record your voice, or write in your sentences. Finish with what you did at your last celebration of this holiday. 4. Video de mi familia. Create a video about you, family, friends, and/or pets that you will present to the class. For each person, introduce them and tell who they are, and what they were like or used to do when they were young. Use props and/or actitions that go along with your vocabulary that you use! For at least one person, add what they did at a recent holiday celebration. What was the holiday, and what did they do? Use preterit tense here!
