


Following DISD district policy,
grades will be:
50% - major grades (tests, papers,
projects, etc.)
50% - daily work (quizzes,
homework, in-class work, class
discussions, etc.)
Major Grades

Major grades less than a 70 may be
retaken for up to a 70.

It is YOUR responsibility to see me
within a reasonable amount of time
about retesting.
Late Work




Students are responsible to
complete all work and turn it in on
time.
Late Papers/Projects will receive a
10 point deduction for each
calendar day late.
Failing daily work can be redone for
up to a 70.
It is your responsibility to see me
within a reasonable amount of time
about missing or failing work.
Make-Up Work


If a student is absent for any
reason, it is their responsibility
to check my website for any
missed work.
Make-up work is due the
following class period, unless
other arrangements are made
with me.

excused absences;
Students are permitted the
number of days absent plus one
to complete make-up work.
Any assignment or test not
made up within the allotted time
will earn a zero.
Cheating & Plagiarism

I will follow the Academic Integrity

work on which a student has
cheated.
What does cheating include?
