families. All other prayer concerns and friends of Faith Church are prayed for on our weekly Prayer
Chain.
-Continued prayers for the people devastated by disasters.
-Pray for our members and friends serving in the military.
-Pray for wisdom, guidance and strength for President Obama.

A BRIEF Church Council meeting is scheduled for TODAY, in the conference room, immediately following the
2nd service.
CIA Outing for any 7th - 12th graders - please join us at Wynnsong theater, Delmont, for "Woodlawn" TODAY, at
4:00 p.m. We will pay for you & a guest for the movie & desserts following at Kings. Drop off at theater 15 minutes prior
to show time & pick-up at Kings. Hope to see you there! Any questions, please see Margie Voytek.
All Lay Servant Annual Reports are due to the church office ASAP.
Last day to bring in items for the college care boxes is November 1st. Parents need to provide the church office with
the address of their child.
PICTURES NEEDED! Anyone with pictures of church or youth group events, that have happened within the last 2-3
years, is asked to please either make copies to give to Jody White or email them to her at jlw22779@yahoo.com so we can
update our boards for visitors to see the love and fun of Faith UMC. Also, if someone is in the newspaper for a church
event or recognized for an achievement outside of church, please cut out the picture and information so we can put it on
our Church News bulletin board, which also needs updated.
Poinsettia orders will be accepted now thru Nov. 29th. The cost is: $8.00 per plant. Poinsettia envelopes are located in

Happening Now-Fall Bible Study – Hallelujah: The Bible And Handel’s Messiah, By: Carol Bechtel Reynolds,
Mondays at 7:00 p.m. As always, we will conclude our Bible Study with a pot luck dinner.
New Member Sunday is scheduled for Nov. 15th. If you have been visiting the church & are interested in learning more
about becoming a member, please contact the church office or see Pastor Ron.
ALL CLEARANCES MUST BE TURNED IN TO THE CHURCH OFFICE BY DECEMBER 31, 2015. ANYONE
THAT DOES NOT HAVE UP TO DATE CLEARANCES AT THAT TIME, MAY NOT BE ABLE TO
CONTINUE IN THEIR CURRENT CHURCH POSITION. If you have any questions, please contact Joann
Emanuele. This includes: Sunday School teachers, classroom assistants, any other helpers with children, all ushers &
key holders.
Christian Education has a Sunday School Open House scheduled for November 1st, wherein we are inviting the parents
of the students to stop in at the Sunday School classes to see what their kids are working on. Also, if someone is
interested in checking out a Sunday School class, we would invite them to come to open house as well.
There will be a meeting, immediately following the Nov. 1st 10:15 a.m. service, for anyone interested in taking part
in a mission trip the summer of 2016. Lori and Bill Jones are trying to see if there would be enough members, friends
and family of Faith Church to take a mission team somewhere in the USA, during the late June-early July, 2016 time
frame. Please email Bill, wljonesjr@gmail.com with any questions prior to the meeting.
Trustees meeting will take place on Nov. 3rd, at 7:00 p.m., in the conference room.
The UMW will meet on Nov. 10th, at 1:15 p.m., in the conference room.
Church Council meeting is scheduled for Nov. 10th at 7:00 p.m., in the fellowship hall. Please have all packet info to
the church office by Nov. 4th.
The Annual Church Conference is scheduled for Nov. 11th at 7:00 p.m., in the Sanctuary. This conference is open to
any member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Volunteers are needed to help make more apple dumplings! Nov. 11th & 12th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Please see
Marje Kratofil for more info.
Reminder: Filled Shoe Boxes are to be returned starting Nov. 15th - 10 am. Nov. 23rd. This is a great way to express
"Sharing Christ's Love Through Faith" around the world! (Please do not bring filled shoe boxes in early, as we do not
have anywhere to store them until Nov. 15th).
Join us for the annual Hanging of the Greens, Nov. 22nd, immediately following the 2nd service. This is a great way get
into the spirit of Christmas, so the more the merrier. Pizza & drinks will be provided.
Acolyte training will take place on Nov. 22nd at 9:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Please see Margie Voytek if you are
interested in becoming an acolyte (3rd grade and older).
Stewardship Sunday will take place on Nov. 22nd, please prayerfully consider your 2016 financial commitment.
Cantata practice is scheduled for Wednesdays at 7:44 p.m. Please see Cammy Young if you would like to
participate.
Pioneer Club meets every Wednesday evening, for children in 1st - 6th grade, at 6:00 p.m., in the
conference room. See Emily Miller for more info.
The Disciple Bible Study Class meets every Thursday, in Room #3, at 6:45 p.m.. Please see Mike
Forringer for more info.
The Tabitha Women’s Fellowship Circle meets the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00
p.m. Bring your bagged lunch.
Actors are needed at Shield’s Farm during Christmas in Salem Crossroads. Churches are not being assigned a night
this year so, you can sign up for ANY NIGHT. A sign-up sheet is located on the Action Table.
The 8:00 a.m. worship service needs your help. They need more people to help run the computer &
sound system. If you can help, please see Ron Spinelli or contact the church office.
We are still collecting Bibles for Sanctified Ministries, the new church which meets in a store front in
McKeesport. Any Bibles that people aren't using may be placed in the box in Room # 3.
Continue to sign up for the Tuesday, Dec. 1st Day Trippers event at the Clayton Mansion & Frick Art &
Historical Center. We need to know by the end of Sept. whether we need to rent a 33 or 56 passenger bus. The
cost is tentatively set at $38/person. Lunch will be at the Cheesecake Factory at the SouthSide Works.
B.E. Taylor Christmas Concert- December 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the Kovalchick Convention Center in
Indiana. Tickets are $32 each and I have reserved 40 tickets. Please sign up on the action table by October
25th. Any questions, please contact Jody White.
Suggestion Box: In November when Pastor Ron was visiting Jim Dollman in the hospital, Jim and his wife,
Thelma, posed a question to him. How can we increase the passion for spiritual growth at Faith Church?
Pastor Ron wants your ideas and suggestions. A box has been placed in the Gathering Area for you to place
comments and ideas.
Don't forget to save your Campbell’s Soup Labels! The UMW collect the Label for Education from
Campbell’s soup & give the labels to the Ruth M. Smith Center. Clip your labels & place them in the
Campbell’s Soup Can, located in the Gathering Area.
Building New Hope-the Tabitha Circle is currently taking orders for the fair trade coffee. Please see the
