AAT Level 2
Welcome to level 2 of the AAT qualification.
This course will give you the confidence to move onto level 3 AAT.
It runs for approximately a year, one or two evenings a week.
There are various modules to complete to gain the level 2 certificate.
These are:
 Basic Costing
 Computerised Accounting (SAGE)
 Working Effectively in accounting & finance
 Processing Bookkeeping Transactions
 Control accounts, journals and the banking system
 Professional Ethics
Each module culminates in a computer based exam taken here at the HTBC
Pre-course requirements:
There are no formal qualifications required before commencing the course however it is expected
that candidates will have an English or Maths qualification
For level 2 AAT we may be able to secure funding for apprenticeships, subject to specific criteria.
Once level 2 has been successfully completed you can then progress to Level 3.
