Yes, procedure text is a text that explain how to do or make something. The language features of this text are: using the simple present tense, often the imperative sentence. It also usually uses the temporal conjunctions, such as first, second, then, next, etc. The structure of a procedure text consists of: Aim/Goal (or title) Materials (not required for all procedure texts) Steps However, there is a procedure text that only consists of goal and followed by some steps. Here is an example of procedure. How To Make Instant Noodle Aim/Goal You need: Materials Steps 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. A cup/pack of instant noodles Pepper, onions , vegetables An egg Boil the noodles in a pot with water. Wait for about 3 minutes. When the water is very hot, put the seasoning powder into the water.
