TAG is expecting the market to swing up slightly this week. The downward trend should continue after this week. Last week we had a break in the previous lows. After the short term rise for this week, we should continue to see the market fall to new lows. While the market is currently up a percent, it may gap fill on Monday and close down. However, from there it should rise for the most part of this week. Once we see a break in the new lows in the next few weeks, we should see a substantial downward move, as we do not have too much support to push the market up Director of TAG Justin DiPietro jzd131@psu.edu S&P 500 Daily Chart S&P 500 30 Min Chart President Ryan Limor Vice President Jake Ettore Secretary Lee Mooney Treasurer John Brozick Penn State Investment Association Weekly Update: July 14, 2008 Equity Research: Focus on Consumer Discretionary Company Nike Disney VF Corp Carnival Director of Equity Research Jack Z.
