Market Overview
Commentary:
► The market is currently below the1300 level. TAG is expecting the market to swing up
slightly this week. The downward trend should continue after this week. Last week we had
a break in the previous lows. After the short term rise for this week, we should continue to
see the market fall to new lows. While the market is currently up a percent, it may gap fill
on Monday and close down. However, from there it should rise for the most part of this
week. Once we see a break in the new lows in the next few weeks, we should see a
substantial downward move, as we do not have too much support to push the market up

The French National Agency for Research on AIDS and Viral Hepatitis announced the initiation of a

Mylan received tentative FDA approval last week for Linezolid tablets, the generic antibiotic version of
Pharmacia and Upjohn's Zynvox tablets, which had sales of about $422 million over the past 12 months
►Mylan, along with Barr Pharmaceuticals, convinced a judge to invalidate a Parkinson’s disease patent
owned by Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH. Boehringer sued the two companies in 2005 for infringement,
but the ruling suggested the claims were invalid because Boehringer engaged in “double patenting”. The
news sent Mylan’s shares up 5.19%

Standard and Poor’s Rating Services raised Becton Dickinson’s long term corporate credit rating and
senior unsecured debt rating from AA- to A+ citing their strength in their medical, diagnostic and bioscience segments
►Shares of Becton Dickinson have slid recently over concerns of rising prices of oil-based resin, which
accounts for about 9.00% of the company’s cost of goods sold, or $250.00 million. Becton Dickinson said
during their April 23 conference call that the benefit of the weak dollar will more than offset the increase
in resin prices, as more than half of the firm’s revenues come from outside the United States
